How to determine which granules on a customer license should be upgraded to new granules when the license is upgraded to Microsoft Navision 4.0 Some granules in the earlier versions may have different granule numbers in Microsoft Navision 4.0. Or, the granules may not exist in Microsoft Navision 4.0. However, new granules were created instead. Customers who have a valid subscription to the upgrade program can have their existing granules upgraded to the new granules. This is free of charge as part of the maintenance agreement. The attached documents give an overview of upgrading licenses from Navision Financials 2.X, Navision Advanced Distribution 2.X, Navision Manufacturing 2.X, Navision Attain 3.01, 3.10, 3.60, and Navision 3.70 to Navision 4.0. The documents list granules that should automatically be upgraded to new granules in Navision 4.0, free of charge, when a license for an earlier version of Navision is upgraded to Navision 4.0.
