Solution |
Cause: The message was referring to a stx error while opening up Navision. This is a common message and involves tweaking file locations within your ENC and ENU folders. Solution: 1. Copy the fin.stx and fin.etx files from the ENC folder 2. Paste to the Client folder where the fin.exe is 3. Rename fin.stx and fin.etx in ENU folder to finUS.stx and finUS.ext By doing this, Navision client will reference the correct language file. Reopen Navision and message should not appear again. This needs to be done only at intial setup of client on new workstations or after recent upgrade. |
