Is it possible to enter a name with accents as some French names have?

Solution

Short answer is Yes, but you may not want to jump throug the hoops. To enter these characters directly into Navision, you need to make changes to your language and keyboard settings for your workstation. Also, the setting for "Language for non-Unicode programs" in Regional and Language Options under control panel may differ from workstation to workstation. This would result in different characters being displayed on different workstations. If this setting is the same for all clients, and it's a language that displays french characters properly, you can enter the character into another application like MS word and copy it into Navision. This would save the effort of making system setting changes if you are only entering these character once in a while.
