Issue | Knowledge Article for Navision Versions up to 4.0 The user opens Navision to find that only the bottom right hand corner of the main menu is visible. It is positioned as though the main menu is pushed up off the top left hand corner of the monitor. (all aspects cited here are as though you are facing your monitor). Is there a solution for this problem OTHER THAN deleting the user's .zup file? |

Cause: The user's zup file has been corrupted. The zup file contains the user's settings i.e. column widths, visible columns. It can get corrupted for unknown reasons and display the above mentioned behaviour. Solution: Navision Menu Pane Not Centered (Versions earlier then 4.0) The menu window is appearing but "off-screen" and not visible within the Navision screen. Or the user has no menu screen appears and cannot open database. Manually selecting the window and moving it with keyboard arrow keys should make it appear. If portion of the Navision Menu screen is visible: Click on Navision Menu window Enter keystrokes, Alt and - sign and M Keep nudging the Window until it is fully visible If the Navision Menu screen is not visable & unable to open database: Open Navision > File > Database > Open Windows > select Open Database Click on Open Database window Enter keystrokes, Alt and - sign and M Keep nudging the Window until it is fully visible |
