With the introduction of Dynamics 365 Financials, there is an additional user type available called "Team Member". The intention of this is to allow you to subscribe to a lower cost license for use with users to interact with the financial solution without the GL requirements. This provides use case for users who are read only, Time Sheet for field staff, approval users or sales teams.
