After selecting to post and print action of a document or journal produces a blank register report.


This is generally caused after running the related G/L Register report for a past register or document number.  These filter options are auto saved.  After posting it runs the register report with the saved filters from the last run.  Due to the fact that the new register does not matched the saved filter.



The solution is to clear the related filter.  To do this we must run the related report without filters or remove the record from the Report Settings table for the report assigned as the posting report in the General Journal Template configuration (typically 10019).


Use the search to look for the "G/L Register" report and run the report.  While the report is running select the "Refresh" button near the browser address bar to force a refresh during the running of the report.


This will then save the last filters to be blank and the post and print will function again as expected.

Add Posting Report ID to review assigned report on print/post action:


Confirm report ID and run Report Settings to remove the entry.
