Here’s an overview of what’s new or changed in the latest version of ODT Rentals & Service Connector, including solution revisions. 

 

If you self-manage updates, you should run the app update from your Business Central Admin Center. If you’re on the Update Protection Plan, this update will be applied for you.

New features & enhancements

New features and enhancements included in this release are: 

  • New drill-downs for Service related statistics inside of Rental Statistics. New drill-downs available for "Service Ticket Cost" and "Service Ticket Revenue" that will display all the entries that make up these statistics.
  • Picture on a Rental Unit will be copied onto the linked Service Unit, when using the "Copy Rental Unit" function with the "Create Service Unit" option, the picture on the Rental Unit will be copied onto the newly created Rental Unit and Service Unit.

  

Solution revisions

Solution revisions included in this release are: 

  • Maintenance Expense Amount Type will now expense "Total Cost" or "Total Price" based on the option selected on the ODT Service Management Setup page.
  • Serial No. of a Rental Unit will be added to the linked Service Unit, when using the "Create Service Unit" function on a Rental Unit, the Serial No. on the Rental Unit card will be added to the created Service Unit card.
